Chris, Garrett, Draymond, and Tyrone were all childhood friends, growing up listening to rock music like Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, and The Deftones but their main inspiration that they admired the most was Metallica through their very distinctive vocals, hard, powerful instrumentals, and high energy performances. From the ripe age of 12, they made a commitment to be a band just like Metallica.

 

In 7th grade, they realized that they needed to expand the band to have another guitar player and a keyboard player so they recruited Bartholonew and Sydney through a lot of convincing of the commitment they all were going to make. Throughout the 4 years of high school, the band played at all levels, from high school talent shows to the local city bars, playing their hardest and loudest metal beats. As they kept playing as a band after high school, they started to play at a higher level stage such as Lollapalooza and Coachella, gaining attention to 10 millions listeners per month on Spotify.
